JAKARTA - On Monday, July 29, foreign investors purchased shares from 937 issuers, resulting in a foreign buying volume of 2.05 billion shares. The foreign sales volume totaled 1.82 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume surplus of 232.15 million shares. The most shares purchased belonged to the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), with 214.33 million shares and a net volume of 209.04 million shares.

In addition, 119.14 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were purchased, for a net volume of 102.32 million shares. In the renewable energy industry, 49 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) were purchased, for a net volume of 44.94 million shares. The shares of the petrochemical and energy company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were then purchased for 52.51 million shares with a net volume of 26.03 million shares, followed by the purchase of 25.72 million shares of the aerosol services company PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO) with a net volume of 23.88 million shares.

Foreign investors then sold shares, starting with the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) for 606.78 million shares for a net volume of -115.84 million shares. Shares of the fuel distributor company PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) also sold 48.98 million shares, and the net volume was -32.72 million shares. Furthermore, shares of the telecommunications business PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) and the coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BRMS) were each sold for around 20 million shares, resulting in a net volume of FREN at -20.58 million shares and BRMS at -19.63 million shares. The list of share sale transactions was then finished with the sale of 50.54 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) in the domestic and foreign shipping sectors, for a net volume of -18.59 million shares.
