Waskita Karya allocates IDR 5 billion for power plant business
JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) has allocated a loan facility to PT Waskita Karya Infrastruktur (WKI), a subsidiary engaged in the power plant business.
The facility was given by WSKT to WKI through PT Waskita Sangir Energi (WSE). The principal amount of the loan is set to IDR 5 billion, with an interest rate of 9.58% and tenor of over 365 days.
The facility is intended to support financing needs of WKI. “With this inter-company transaction (ICT) facility from WSE to WKI, WKI is expected to be able to optimise its performance and provide added value to the company as WKI’s shareholder,” said the management of WSKT in the official statement.
According to IDNFinancials data, WKI invests and operates infrastructures and facilities in several energy sectors, ranging from infrastructure and facility such as power plants, oil and gas, mining, property, transportation, and utility sector. (KR/ZH)
