Releasing 67.40 million Estika Tata Tiara (BEEF) shares, Edie now controls only 8% stake
JAKARTA - A private investor by the name of Edie released 67.40 million shares of PT Estika Tata Tiara Tbk (BEEF), a livestock company, on Monday, July 29. He used to own about 9.07% of the shares, but this most recent transaction has made him own just 8.11%.
Moreover, it was noted that two significant investors in PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), a mining and energy consulting services company, had reduced their shareholdings. First, 6.61 million shares of ITMA were sold by PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia, with the most recent share portion being 5.41%. In addition, 1.10 million shares were released by PT Fersindo Nusa Jaya, leaving it with 8.73% of the stake. Moreover, PT Goldfive Investment Capital, the controlling shareholder of PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML), which is involved in sea transportation and logistics services, was selling 7.24 million shares. In the meantime, 28,300 shares of the palm oil business PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) were sold by PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari.
However, the buyback of shares by two issuers marked the start of the major investors' addition of shares: the mining holding company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), which bought back 7.50 million shares, and the cement producer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), which bought back 1.84 million shares. Additionally, PT Bogamulia Nagadi, the controller of the pharmaceutical company PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), added two million shares. Two individual investors were also noted as increasing their stock holdings: Lo Kheng Hong added 530 thousand shares of integrated energy company PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM), and Low Tuck Kwong purchased an additional 172,300 shares of integrated coal mining company PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN).
