JAKARTA - PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO), a bottled mineral water manufacturer known with its brand, Cleo, reported net profit of IDR 220.22 billion in the first half of 2024, up 71% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 128.80 billion seen in H1 2023.

Sales in Java and Bali area dominated total sales of CLEO with 81.71% contribution. According to its Financial Report of H1 2024 quoted today (2/8), the company scored net sales of IDR 1.29 trillion, up 32.92% yoy from IDR 975.67 billion in H1 2023.

CLEO’s sales consisted of bottled water’s sales of IDR 698.11 billion, up 37% yoy from IDR 511.25 billion; non-bottled water’s sales of IDR 575.92 billion, also up 28.34% yoy from IDR 448.65 billion; and others of IDR 22.44 billion, up 46.66% yoy from IDR 15.7 billion.

Gross profit of this Indeks52 constituent reportedly reached IDR 759.12 billion in H1 2024, increasing 43.75% yoy from IDR 528.34 billion, thus bringing the margin up to 58.57%, higher compared to 54.15% seen in H1 2023.

Then, its profit before taxes also skyrocketed 74.73% yoy to IDR 286.53 billion from IDR 163.98 billion.

CLEO’s sales were dominated by Java and Bali region, which generated sales of IDR 1.05 trillion, up 27.43% yoy from IDR 831.61 billion. Sales from other regions, however, also grew 63.88% yoy to IDR 236.85 billion from IDR 144.06 billion. (LK/ZH)
