JAKARTA. PT Alfa Energi Tbk (FIRE), a coal mining company, booked net profit of IDR 18.4 billion in the first half (H1) of 2024. It contrasted with the loss it recorded in H1 2023 of IDR 13.59 billion.

According to the recently released financial report, FIRE’s net profit seemingly went in line with net revenue that reached IDR 224.34 billion in H1 2024. It skyrocketed as high as 150% year-on-year (yoy) from its revenue in H1 2023 that only clocked up to IDR 89.69 billion.

In H1 2024, FIRE’s sales were mostly contributed from Far East Commodites SA, which generated sales value of IDR 155.63 billion. Then, the second highest sales came from Glencore International AG, which brought in IDR 50.46 billion. Then, sales to other parties were IDR 18.25 billion.

Until June 30, 2024, FIRE’s total assets were reported at IDR 446.35 billion, with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 22 billion, and total equity of IDR 231.94 billion. (KR/ZH)
