JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will hold another auction of Government Sharia Securities (SBSN) or government sukuk on August 13 2024, with an indicative target of IDR 8 trillion.

There are 7 series of state sukuk that will be offered in the auction. The details consist of 2 series of SPNS (Sharia State Treasury Letters) and 5 series of PBS (Project Based Sukuk).

The returns offered for the SPNS series are in the form of discounts. Meanwhile, returns for the PBS series are offered ranging from 4.87% to 6.87%.

According to idnfinancials.com data, the Indonesian government has held 3 state sukuk auctions since the beginning of the second semester (2H) 2024. The accumulated bids entered in the state sukuk auction since July 2024 were recorded at IDR 95.57 trillion. Meanwhile, the total amount won in this period was recorded at IDR 25.18 trillion. (KR/LM)
