JAKARTA. PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR), a multi-sector holding issuer belonging to the Bakrie Group, has released 2.23% of its shares in PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR).

The number of shares released is equivalent to 975.63 million VKTR shares. "The company's aim in selling the above shares is to settle debts to creditors who are not affiliated with the company, namely PT Tambara Tama Mandiri," said Christofer A. Uktoleseja, in an official statement.

The price for VKTR share release was not stated. However, according to idnfinancials.com data, the VKTR share price closed at IDR 122 per share at the closing bell yesterday.

With this price assumption, BNBR is estimated to reap fresh funds of IDR 119.02 billion from the sale of VKTR shares. (KR/LM)
