A year debuting, two stocks saw downturns, another two skyrocketed
JAKARTA – The stock prices of two issuers out of four that debuted on Indonesia Stock Exchange last year (8/8) report a decline, contrasting with another two that sport over 50% growth.
Based on IDNFinancials data today (12/8), the bearish issuers are PT Sinar Eka Selaras Tbk (ERAL) and PT Paperocks Indonesia Tbk (PPRI), whereas the bullish stocks are PT Ingria Pratama Capitalindo Tbk (GRIA) and PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR).
At last Thursday’s (8/8) closing bell, ERAL’s price was recorded at IDR 234 per share, down 40% from its initial public offering (IPO) price of IDR 390 per share issued on August 8, 2023.
The transaction volume reached 1.01 million shares in 232 transactions worth IDR 240.43 million. The stock consists of 5.18 billion shares, 1.03 billion of which belong to the public, while the founders claim another 4.15 billion.
ERAL’s market capitalisation was nearly halved, from IDR 404.62 billion to IDR 242.77 billion.
PPRI also reported 16.42% decline to IDR 117 per share as of August 8, 2024, from IDR 140 per share set in its IPO on August 8 last year.
The transaction volume of PPRI was reported reaching 74.99 million within 4,113 transactions worth IDR 8.52 billion. The stock consists of 1.07 billion shares, 275 million of which belong to the public, while the founders claim another 800 million.
PPRI’s market capitalisation also slipped to IDR 32.17 billion from IDR 38.15 billion.
On the other hand, there are also two other issuers that saw growth in their stock performances, including CYBR that soared 186% to IDR 286 per share from IDR 100 per share, as well as GRIA that moved 70% upwards to IDR 204 from IDR 120 per share during IPO.
CYBR now reports market capitalisation of IDR 1.84 trillion, up from IDR 644.95 billion. Transaction volume and frequency of CYBR stock reportedly hit 15.95 million shares and 1,986 transactions worth IDR 4.64 billion.
In the meantime, GRIA records market capitalisation of IDR 1.50 trillion, increasing from IDR 885.08 billion, with transaction volume and frequency of 41.01 million and 4,747 transactions worth IDR 8.40 billion. (LK/ZH)
