JAKARTA. PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS), a coal mining company belonging to the Sinar Mas Group, has distributed capital injections amounting to IDR 274.78 billion for its 2 subsidiaries.

The two subsidiaries that received additional capital are PT Dwikarya Sejati Utama (DSU) and PT Barasentosa Lestari (BSL). The additional capital provided for DSU is IDR 102.91 billion and DSU IDR 170.87 billion.

Sudin SH, Corporate Secretary of GEMS, said that the additional capital was provided in order to "strengthen the financial position and capital structure" of BSL and DSU.

After the additional capital, BSL's total issued and paid-up capital increased to IDR 174.37 billion, from previously IDR 3.5 billion. Meanwhile, DSU's issued and paid-up capital increased to IDR 103.91 billion, from the previous IDR 1 billion.

According to idnfinancials.com data, DSU is a business entity that operates in the field of venture capital and management consulting. Meanwhile, BSL is a business entity that runs the coal mining business and develops mine mouth power plants. (KR/LM)
