JAKARTA - Foreign share purchase transactions remained at a high level on Tuesday, August 13, with the foreign buy volume at 2.59 billion shares. Meanwhile, the foreign sales volume was just about 1.71 billion shares. As a result, foreign net volume remained in the green zone, closing at 875.54 million shares.

On the top buy list, shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) ranked first after 762.09 million shares were purchased, for a net volume of 426.60 million shares. In the energy resources infrastructure sector, 278.24 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were purchased, for a net volume of 248.58 million shares. Shares of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), a construction services firm, were then purchased for 144.83 million shares, for a net volume of 103.07 million. The last two shares purchased belonged to state-owned companies that operate in construction, infrastructure, and real estate. Foreign investors were seen acquiring 70.80 million shares of PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) for a net volume of 51.34 million shares, as well as 60.57 million shares of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) for a net volume of 44.11 million shares.

Turning to the top sell list, shares of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) were sold for 62.22 million shares without any shares purchased, resulting in a net volume of -62.22 million shares. Apart from that, shares of the precious metal mining business PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) were also sold for 78.04 million shares, with a net volume of -55.32 million shares. Shares of PT Era Media Sejahtera Tbk (DOOH), which works in the advertising and management consulting industries, were then sold for 24.57 million shares, for a net volume of -18.54 million shares. Foreign investors then sold the remaining two shares of the gold mining business PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) and the multimedia company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), for around 30 million shares each. From these transactions, PSAB's net volume was -18.11 million shares and SCMA's was -17.27 million shares. (KD)
