First half in, BRMS’s performance took off
JAKARTA – Throughout the first half (H1) of 2024, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) skyrocketed compared to the same period last year. The revenue and net profit both soared 286.81% and 61.08% year-on-year (yoy).
Based on Financial Report of H1 2024 quoted today (19/8), its revenue was seen increasing to USD 61.26 million from USD 15.83 million in the first half of 2023.
Then, operating profit shifted 223.30% yoy to USD 16.21 million from USD 5.01 million. However, its gross profit margin sank to 26.46% from 31.66% seen in H1 2023.
Its revenue in H1 2024 was primarily contributed by gold sales of USD 60.04 million, followed by silver sales of USD 1.22 million.
For comparison, in H1 2023, gold sales brought in USD 14.67 million, while silver sales reached USD 163,544, and mining consultancy services scored USD 1 million.
Meanwhile, profit before taxes reportedly hit USD 13.93 million, soaring from USD 5.23 million, bringing the current year’s net profit increased to USD 9.43 million from USD 5.63 million.
All in all, its net profit reached USD 8.95 million in H1 2024, up from USD 5.56 million in H1 2023. (LK/ZH)
