First session saw JCI’s bullish trend
JAKARTA – Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (JCI) was seen gaining strides in the green zone, starting from the opening bell today (20/8) until the end of its first session. It was opened at 7,491.41 at 9 AM WIB.
Monitoring the board until the end of first closing bell, IHSG was seen peaking, even arriving at 7,542.13 prior to 12 PM WIB. It was in contrast with fluctuation seen last Monday (19/8).
JCI’s bullish trend was then reflected in other indices, including LQ45 that went up 0.95% to 937.024, IDX30 up 1.12% to 476.184, IDX80 up 0.97% to 130.882, and IDXESGL up 0.64% to 166.103.
Several blue-chip stocks that saw improvement include PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM).
However, other stocks did not seem to be affected with this uptrend and were relatively sluggish, such as PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), and PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO). (LK/ZH)
