SUN’s bids break records, reaching IDR 104.07 trillion
JAKARTA. Total incoming bids for the auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) yesterday (20/8) reached IDR 104.07 trillion, as stated by the Directorate-General of Budget Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance.
This is the 15th SUN auction held by the government since the beginning of 2024. For the record, total bids in yesterday’s auction are reportedly the highest this year.
For the record, there were 7 series of SUN offered in said auction. They consist of 2 series of Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
SPN12250807 is the SPN series with the highest amount of bid value, reaching IDR 5.66 trillion, whereas FR0104 is the highest amongst all ON series with total incoming bids of IDR 50.59 trillion.
“The awarded amount of these 7 auctioned series clocks up to IDR 27 trillion,” said DJPPR of the Ministry of Finance in the official statement.
According to IDNFinancials data, the Indonesian government has held 4 rounds of SUN auctions since the beginning of the second half of 2024. In this period, cumulative incoming bids reportedly reach IDR 276.6 trillion, while the awarded amount hit IDR 96 trillion. (KR/ZH)
