JAKARTA - On Monday, August 19, the renewable energy company PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) purchased approximately 317.36 million of its own shares. After PT Danatama Makmur Sekuritas completed this transaction, the issuer now owns 5% of the shares. In the meantime, OASA's controller, Gafur Sulistyo Umar, recorded a decrease in shares from 55.58% to 50.58% because he sold the same number of shares through the same securities company.

The MNC Group is the subject of the next update. PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk, the parent company, first added 14 million shares of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), a financial services company, to its control, increasing its share portion to 47.05%. However, this parent company did release 56 million shares of PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR), the broadcasting media issuer. Following that, 36.38 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), a media company focused on advertisements, were sold by Global Mediacom. PT MNC Sekuritas facilitated these three transactions.

Furthermore, Ram Jethmal Punjabi, an individual investor, invested 7.46 million shares in PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM), the production company. At the moment, this controller owns about 77.33% of the shares. PT Goldfive Investment Capital, which is PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk's (BSML) company's majority shareholder, invested an additional 5 million shares in the shipping and logistics services company. Additionally, PT Ekadharma Inti Perkasa, the controller of PT Ekadharma International Tbk (EKAD), purchased an additional 500,000 shares in the adhesive tape, aluminum foil, cling wrap, and related materials manufacturer and retailer.

It was also observed that PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, another controller, had sold 5.90 million shares of the financial services company PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA). Finally, 1.20 million shares of private general contractor PT Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring Tbk (DGIK) were released by foreign investor OCBC Sec Pte Ltd S/A Hudson River Group Pte Ltd. (KD)
