JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will hold another auction of Government Sharia Securities (SBSN) or government sukuk on Tuesday (27/8) next week, with an indicative target of IDR 8 trillion.

There are 7 SUN series that will be offered in the auction. The details consist of 2 series of SPNS (State Treasury Letters – Sharia) and 5 series of PBS (Project Based Sukuk).

The rewards offered for both SPNS series are in the form of discounts. Meanwhile, the rewards offered for the five PBS series range from 4.87% to 6.87%.

As a note, 1 of the 5 PBS offered in the auction, namely PBS001, is a green sukuk series offered through the domestic primary market. Previously, the Indonesian government had issued green sukuk 7 times since 2018.

According to idnfinancials.com data, the Indonesian government has also held an auction of state sukuk on August 13 2024. The total number of bids entered in the state sukuk auction was recorded at IDR 17.97 trillion. (KR/LM)
