JAKARTA - PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI), or popularly known as Sari Roti and Sari Kue, reveals that the construction of its latest production facility in Pekanbaru, Riau, will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.

It is worth mentioning that the newest factory of ROTI in Pekanbaru is the 15th production facility that is projected to increase bread production capacity to 5.7 million loaves of bread per day.

“It will be enough to support sales growth until 2026,” said Hadi Susilo, Head of Public and Investor Relations of ROTI today (27/8) when met at Public Expose Live 2024 of ROTI.

Until now, Sari Roti manages 14 factories across Indonesia, with total production capacity of 5.1 million of loaves of bread per day.

“The operation of Pekanbaru factory, targeted for completion at the end of this year, will strengthen the distribution in the western region,” added Susilo during his material presentation.

It is worth mentioning that ROTI’s sales in the western and eastern area of Indonesia reached IDR 909 billion in H1 2024, increasing 12.2% year-on-year (yoy).

This number starts to closing in on sales in Central Indonesia, concentrated in Java, which was recorded at IDR 1.01 trillion at the end of June 2024.

Susilo believes that the sales in eastern and western region resulted from ROTI’s strategy in expanding it factories to outside Java, including Batam, Balikpapan, and Banjarmasin, as well as the latest, Pekanbaru. (ZH)
