JAKARTA – PT Waskita Karya Beton Tbk (WTON) recorded new contracts of IDR 3.36 trillion until July (7M) 2024, aligning with its new contract target until December 2024 of IDR 7.48 trillion.

WTON’s new contracts as of July 2024 was dominated by infrastructure segment of up to 79.84%. “It was followed by industry segment of 7.35% and property of 6.88%,” said Dedi Indra, Corporate Secretary of WTON during Public Expose Live 2024 today (29/8).

Based on its users, WTON reported 78.33% of new contracts commissioned by private sector, followed by SOEs (18.03%) and WIKA (2.64%). “It could be said that our dependence in holding is quite low,” added Indra.

The composition of users further ignites WTON’s optimism in scoring ever-increasing performance in 2025, despite the decline in State Budget Plan of 2025 for infrastructure segment by 5.5%.

“Based on our private sector’s project, the fund is sufficiently extensive for the end of this year and next year,” added Kuncara, President Director of WTON, on the same occasion.

“For 2025, we record a lot of carry-over projects from 2024. Therefore, in terms of revenue, we are confident we could grow,” added Kuncara.

According to Kuncara, several private sectors that will potentially contribute to WTON include plantation, mining, and smelting facilities.

According to the board of directors, for 2025, the management is still optimistic about attaining new contracts of approximately IDR 7.5 to 8 trillion. (ZH)
