JAKARTA. PT Hermina Medikaloka Tbk (HEAL), a healthcare provider, is preparing for additional facilities for its newly operating Hermina Hospital in Nusantara Capital City (IKN).

Yulisar Khiat, Director of Finance and Strategic Development of HEAL, mentioned that the extra facilities set up for IKN Hermina Hospital consist of 100 new beds for inpatients. For the record, as of now, IKN Hermina Hospital has been open for certain services.

“For IKN branch, as of August 17, we are ready for surgeries or ICU,” added Khiat during Public Expose Live 2024 of HEAL today (29/8).

In addition to new beds, HEAL also provides several additional services in IKN Hermina Hospital, following some demands to the company to offer comprehensive services for cancer patients.

“For cancer, there has not been any demand. However, for traumatology services, internal medicine services, surgeries, and others up to level 2, we can cover all diseases,” said Khiat.

In addition, HEAL is currently working to seal a deal with BPJS Balikpapan to serve National Health Insurance (JKN) patients. “We are working to partner with BPJS, so that we can serve workers that build IKN,” claimed Khiat.

Khiat further said that admitting JKN patients in IKN Hermina Hospital will impact the company’s financial performance in the future. “It will affect the revenue, but in such a minuscule scale,” concluded Khiat. (KR/ZH)
