JAKARTA - PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO) will add 14 Astra Otoservice outlets in the second half of 2024, which are expected to optimise service and its automotive spare part sales to consumers of AUTO.

Tujuh Martogi Siahaan, Director of AUTO, said that the company has operated 16 Astra Otoservice outlets until the first half (H1) of 2024, all located in Java and Sumatra.

“Therefore, total outlets that we have until the end of this year will reach 30 outlets,” Siahaan said during Public Expose Live 2024 via Zoom, Friday (30/8).

Astra Otoparts Service outlets officially opened during COVID-19 pandemic, on November 11, 2020. On top of this service, the company has operated 568 other outlets, including Shop & Drive, Shop & Bike, and Aspira Motoquick in order to promote massive sales of two-wheelers and four-wheelers spare parts to consumers.

Then, Sophie Handili, Director of Finance of AUTO, mentioned that the company booked net profit of IDR 1.01 trillion in the first half (H1) of 2024, up 26.5% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 800 billion seen in H1 2023.

Its assets also grew 4.1% to IDR 20.4 trillion in June 2024 from IDR 19.6 trillion recorded in December 2023, as did its liabilities by 10.1% to IDR 5.6 trillion from IDR 5.1 trillion in December 2023.

It is mentioned that the company will continue to form partnerships with business partners to manufacture various types of spare part products for two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.

Furthermore, AUTO is entering electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem through EV infrastructure products under the brand Altro. (LK/ZH)
