JAKARTA - Conglomerate and controller of PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), Low Tuck Kwong, gave his daughter Elaine Low control over 7.33 billion BYAN shares on Wednesday, August 28. Elaine now owns 22% of the shares in the coal mining and contractor company, while Low Tuck Kwong's share portion decreased from 62.15% to just 40.15%. Securities firm BUT Butsche Bank AG facilitated the transaction between the two.

Two investors were also spotted transferring shares in PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), the company that operates the Hermina Hospital. Yulisar Khiat increased his ownership from 12.38% to 12.55% by adding 26.84 million shares. In the meantime, the same number of shares were released by Binsar Parasian Simorangkir, with a final share portion of 5.34%. PT NH Korindo Sekuritas Indonesia was designated to carry out both deals.

Through a tender offer, foreign investor MUFG Bank Ltd increased its stake in PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk (MFIN) by 494.36 million shares, further solidifying its position in this financial company. After its most recent transaction, this investor now owns 89.26% of the shares, up from 70.61% previously. Additionally, PT Panca Global Kapital Tbk (PEGE), the issuer in the securities brokerage and trading industry, received an investment of 147.90 shares from another foreign investor, RR Capital Group Pte Ltd. Additionally, PT Arthakencana Rayatama acquired an additional 3.74 million shares in fuel distributor PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA).

Conversely, the Industrial Bank of Korea decided to release 250 million shares of the banking firm PT Bank IBK Indonesia Tbk (AGRS) via PT Kiwoom Sekuritas Indonesia. Following the sale of 27.44 million shares of consumer financing company PT Woori Finance Indonesia Tbk (BPFI) by PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk, the market hints closed with the sale of 500,000 shares of PT Dyandra Media International Tbk (DYAN) by PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk.
