Kharisma Andalas owns nearly 6% of Perdana Gapura Prima (GPRA)
JAKARTA - Through PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Kharisma Andalas Putra purchased 255.65 million shares of real estate developer PT Perdana Gapura Prima Tbk (GPRA) on Thursday, August 29. With a 5.98% share portion, the purchase instantly made this investor the newest major shareholder in GPRA. However, GPRA's controller, PT Abadimukti Gunalestari, actually decreased the number of shares it owned by 48.78 million, making its share portion only 68.78%.
Renowned investor Lo Kheng Hong also made a decision to increase shares, investing approximately 2.39 million shares in strategic investment firm PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM). Furthermore, it was observed that the coal mining holding company, PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), was buying back up to two million of its own shares. Not to be outdone, PT Arthakencana Rayatama has added 1.50 million shares to its stake in fuel distributor PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA). Next up was PT Tudung Putra Putri Jaya, which purchased 900,000 shares of PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (KEJU), a company that makes cheese sold under the Prochiz brand.
In contrast, PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk released 27.82 million shares from consumer finance company PT Woori Finance Indonesia Tbk (BPFI). PT Aladin Global Ventures then sold 11.40 million shares of the digital Sharia bank, PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk (BANK). Additionally, individual investor Sabana Prawira Widjaja decided to sell 8.80 million of his shares in PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Co. (ULTJ), a manufacturer of food and beverages. Ultimately, 3.32 million shares of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) were sold by controlling investor PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala. (KD)
