JAKARTA - Foreign investors sold 384.88 million shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) on Tuesday, September 3, for a net volume of -52.03 million shares. This transaction added to the foreign sales volume, which stood at 2.26 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was 2.15 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume closed at -110.68 million shares.

Apart from GOTO, foreigners also sold 161.85 million shares of the resort and hotel development and management company PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) with a net volume of -112.55 million shares. PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) shares in the e-commerce sector were then sold for 77.91 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -37.62 million shares. In the property sector, PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) shares were sold for 35.38 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -35.35 million shares. On the other side, 272.64 million shares of coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were purchased, for a net volume of 137.05 million shares. Shares of its subsidiary that operates in the mineral mining sector, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), were purchased for 126.92 million shares and had a net volume of 111.04 million shares. Shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), a local and international shipping services company, were also purchased for 76.23 million shares, for a net volume of 62.30 million shares. In the banking sector, 119.92 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were purchased, for a net volume of 59.31 million shares. Finally, 45.56 million shares of the renewable energy business PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) were purchased, totaling 44.17 million shares. (KD)
