JAKARTA - The investor in PT Woori Finance Indonesia Tbk (BPFI), PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk, sold a total of 29.36 million shares of the company on Monday, September 2. Following the sale, which was organized by PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk, Batavia Prosperindo's share portion in this consumer financing issuer was reduced from 8.95% to 7.85%.

Additionally, 627,100 shares of the film company and production house PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) were sold by foreign investor Morgan Stanley And Co International Plc. Another foreign investor, HSBC Bank Plc, sold 250,700 shares of PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX), which provides onshore and offshore drilling services. Following the release of 200 thousand shares of coal mining and palm oil plantation issuer PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA) by PT Toba Sejahtra, PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia released 261,100 shares of end-to-end supply chain solutions company PT Dosni Roha Indonesia Tbk (ZBRA).

On the other hand, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala invested 1.33 million shares in financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), and PT Arthakencana Rayatama added 4.92 million shares in fuel distributor PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA).

Manoj Pitamber Nanwani, an individual investor, then bought a total of 900,000 shares of PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (WINS), an offshore support vessel transportation service provider, through PT CGS International Sekuritas Indonesia. Additionally, Low Tuck Kwong increased his ownership stake in PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), a mining issuer and coal contractor, by 377 thousand shares. Sukarto Bujung ultimately purchased 230 thousand shares of PT Buyung Poetra Sembada Tbk (HOKI), a premium rice processing and distribution company. (KD)
