Weekend saw JCI breaking new records
JAKARTA – Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (JCI) broke another record throughout today’s (6/9) session. It arrived at 7,733.35 nearing the end of the closing bell at 3.49 PM WIB, higher than 7,700 level recorded yesterday (5/9).
Monitoring the board today, JCI shifted positively, bullish at the green zone. Right after the opening bell, the index soared to 7,743.26 at 9.20 AM WIB. Although the index slowed down a while later, it remained steady at the green zone, reaching beyond 7,720 until afternoon session.
This optimistic shift is reflected through other indices that rode the uptrend, such as LQ45 that went up 0.22% to 943.777, IDX30 up 0.10% to 478.251, IDX80 up 0.34% to 132.152%, and IDXESGL up 0.28% to 165.931.
Some of the stocks that were seen climbing throughout the day include PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS), PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), PT Jababeka Tbk (KIJA), PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON), and PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN).
Meanwhile, there were property issuers that saw slippage, such as PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate Tbk (BEST), PT Plaza Indonesia Realty Tbk (PLIN), PT Bumi Serpon Damai Tbk (BSDE), and PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA). (LK/ZH)
