JAKARTA - The controlling shareholder, PT Goldman Investindo Sedaya, sold 400 million shares of PT Indo Boga Sukses Tbk (IBOS), an issuer in the food and beverage industry, on Friday, September 6. The sale transaction reduced this investor's shareholding to 50.83% from approximately 55.79% previously. Also, PT Trust Sekuritas was designated to handle the transaction.

Furthermore, foreign investor OCBC Bank-Mezzanine Capital Unit sold 117.69 million shares of PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia Tbk (CNKO), a coal and power plant company. This represented a decline in shares from 9.39% to 8.08%. After PT Anugerah Inti Karisma sold 3.44 million shares of PT Panca Global Kapital Tbk (PEGE), a securities brokerage and trading company, another controller, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, was also discovered to have dumped 4.20 million shares of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA).

PT Fersindo Nusa Jaya then announced the sale of 1.73 million shares of PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA) through three separate securities. However, foreign investor Zurich Assets International Ltd. purchased 14.16 million shares of ITMA through PT Danatama Makmur Sekuritas.

This time, PT Triputra Investindo Arya recorded the largest share buys, purchasing 101.37 million shares of PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG), a company that produces rubber and palm oil. PT Arthakencana Rayatama then bought 20.16 million more shares in PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), a fuel distributor. Furthermore, Lenawati Setiadi P., an individual investor, purchased an additional 2.30 million shares in PT Pudjiadi Prestige Tbk (PUDP), a business involved in property development and management. PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, a cement manufacturer, finally bought back 500,000 shares. (KD)
