JAKARTA - PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (HEXA) will expand its business reach to reparation services for Foton cars and trucks, a Chinese vehicle brand, starting this year. The plan, however, must be decided in Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on September 24, 2024.

In the issued prospectus quoted Thursday (12/9), HEXA becomes the distributor of Foton trucks, partnering with PT Foton Pemasaran & Penjualan Indonesia as the principal representative of Foton. The truck is a completely-built-up (CBU) unit imported directly from China.

The fund source for this business expansion comes from rollovers from its internal cash. As of June 2024, its total assets were recorded at USD 406.55 million, with total liabilities of USD 221.66 million, and total equity of USD 184.89 million.

HEXA has been known as the distributor of heavy equipment, such excavators of over 6 tons, wheel loader, mini excavator, and articulated dump truck. (LK/ZH)
