Jakarta - On Thursday, September 12, foreign investors purchased up to 3.62 billion shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), for a net volume of 249.58 million shares. This transaction represents around 64% of the overall foreign purchase volume, which was at 5.63 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign sales volume was not much different at 5.22 billion shares. As a result, the net foreign volume surplus at around 403.71 million shares.

Aside from GOTO, foreign investors also purchased 97.52 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), a coal mining company, for a net volume of 77.71 million shares. Shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), which provides domestic and international shipping services, were then purchased for 64.56 million shares, with a net volume of 63.66 million shares. In the banking sector, foreign investors bought 100.93 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with a net volume of 36.54 million shares and 39.63 million shares of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) with a net volume of 35.71 million shares.

On the share sale list, approximately 118.51 million shares of the banking business PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) were sold, with a net volume of -96.24 million shares. Apart from that, shares of nickel mining business PT Adhi Kartiko Pratama Tbk (NICE) were sold for 89.76 million shares, with a net volume of -85.42 million shares. The shares of PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB), a gold mining company in the Australasian region, were then sold for 67.42 million shares with a net volume of -41.30 million shares, followed by the sale of 52.43 million shares of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) in the property sector for a net volume of -36.05 million shares. Finally, shares of multimedia business PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) were sold for 28.94 million shares, for a net volume of -24.52 million shares. (KD)
