JAKARTA. PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL) has budgeted capital expenditure of IDR 120 billion for the expansion of logistics centre in Cibitung, Bekasi.

Susanto Djaja, President Director of MTDL, said that as of now, utilisation level of the warehouse has nearly reached its maximum capacity. “As of now, utilisation rate of MTDL’s warehouse has reached 90% of its installed capacity,” he added in the official statement.

Currently, MTDL’s warehouse facility is said to house up to 70 thousand items. The expansion of this warehouse will boost storage capacity by up to 85%.

For the record, MTDL’s warehouse expansion phase two has started in May 2024, and is targeted for completion at the first quarter next year. With this expansion, the company is optimistic that distribution business activities will be improved.

According to IDNFinancials data, MTDL booked revenue of IDR 10.5 trillion in the first half (H1) of 2024, soaring 12.4% year-on-year (yoy). (KR/ZH)
