JAKARTA. PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) announced its latest collaboration with PT Indonesia Connectivity Investasi (Iconvest), a subsidiary of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) owned through PT Indonesia Comnets Plus (PLN Icon Plus).

The collaboration aims to develop affordable internet services for the community. In this collaboration, WIFI and Inonvest mutually open opportunities for sharing competency and sharing capacity.

For the record, Iconvest currently has almost 3 million homepasses spread across various regions. Surge also has a connectivity network along the railway line with a total backbone of 7,000 kilometers.

"With this collaboration, both Surge [WIFI] and ICONVEST hope to become the main catalyst for the growth of the digital economy in Indonesia through the distribution of reliable and affordable internet networks," said Yune Marketatmo, President Director of WIFI, in his official statement.

Meanwhile, Yulianto Sri Hartadi, Director of Iconvest, said that the collaboration will not only drive Iconvest's operational efficiency, but also become an important catalyst in the growth of the digital economy.
