JAKARTA - Foreign investors' share buying and selling activity on Friday, September 20, resulted in rather significant foreign purchasing and selling volumes, with 14.27 billion shares sold and 10.81 billion shares bought. As a result, net foreign volume closed at -3.45 billion shares. Shares in digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) and telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) were sold in billions of shares. Foreign investors were observed selling 7.10 billion GOTO shares for a net volume of -2.25 billion shares and 2.20 billion FREN shares for a net volume of -665.05 million shares.

Apart from that, shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold for 539.22 million shares, with a net volume of -470.39 million shares. In the property sector, around 478.53 million shares of PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk (ASRI) were sold, for a net volume of -194.08 million shares. Furthermore, foreign investors sold 334.16 million shares of coal mining business PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), resulting in a net volume of -169.84 million shares.

On the other hand, BUMI's mineral mining subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), became the first stock on the top buy list after foreign investors purchased 146.20 million shares for a net volume of 75.40 million shares. The renewable energy company PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) was then purchased for 88.88 million shares, with a net volume of 74.71 million shares, followed by the purchase of 76.71 million shares for domestic and foreign shipping services PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), with a net volume of 74.13 million. Furthermore, 111.33 million shares of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) in the banking sector were purchased, resulting in a net volume of 68.58 million shares. The list of foreign share purchases and sales was then completed with the purchase of 58.75 million shares of lifestyle goods distributor PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI), for a net volume of 52.20 million shares.
