Govt to hold another state sukuk auction next week, aiming for IDR 8 trillion
JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will hold another auction of Government Sharia Securities (SBSN) or government sukuk on Tuesday (8/10) next week, with an indicative target of IDR 8 trillion.
There are 7 series of state sukuk that will be offered in the auction, according to the official statement from the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance.
The details consist of 2 series of State Treasury Letters – Sharia (SPNS) and 5 series of Project Based Sukuk (PBS).
The returns offered for the SPNS series are in the form of discounts. Meanwhile, the returns offered for the PBS series range from 4.87% to 6.87%.
Please note, the state sukuk auction is being held to fulfill part of the financing target in the 2024 APBN. The auction will be carried out using the Bank Indonesia auction system, where each party can submit a purchase offer (bid) through the main dealer determined by the Ministry of Finance. (KR/LM)
