JAKARTA – Fortune recently crowned 100 most powerful women of 2024 from various business sectors across the globe. In the list, 8 out of the top 10 women came from United States (US) region.

In the press release quoted Thursday (3/10), Anastasia Nyrkovskaya, CEO of Fortune, said that the women executives included in the list have transformed the business and industry.

“Their courageous leadership and new perspective will definitely promote positive shifts in the years to come,” Nyrkovskaya said.

The top 10 of the 100 Most Powerful Women list issued by this multi-platform media company include:

1.Mary Barra, Chair and CEO of General Motors (GM), US.
2.Karen S Lynch, President and CEO of CVS Health, US.
3.Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup, US.
4.Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture, US.
5.Emma Walmsley, CEO of GSK, United Kingdom (UK).
6.Ruth Porat, President, CIO, CFO of Alphabet and Google, US.
7.Safra Catz, CEO of Oracle, US.
8.Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD, US.
9.Kathryn McLay, President and CEO of Walmart International, US.
10.Grace Wang, Co-Founder, Chairwomen of Luxshare Precision, China.

Alyson Shontell, Editor in Chief and Chief Content Officer of Fortune, said that this list of influential women emphasises the impact of women leadership in current business landscape.
