Improving International Services Access, BNI Relocates Singapore Office to the Strategic Raffles Place
JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI continues to strive to improve service accessibility for international customers. One of the latest steps is to relocate the Singapore Overseas Office (KLN) to BNI Tower at 30 Raffles Place, Singapore #26-01 & #27-01 from its previous location at Cecil Street.
BNI's operations in this new office cover two floors, namely the 26th floor for corporate purposes and the 27th floor for the Banking Hall. Customers who want to make transactions at the Banking Hall can easily access it via the 3rd floor, where there is also a BNI ATM machine that can be accessed by the public without requiring visitor registration.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo explained that BNI Tower was designed to meet the needs of corporate and business workspaces with a strategic location in the heart of Singapore.
"The location in Raffles Place, with direct access to The Arcade, MRT Raffles Place, and OUE Bayfront, makes it easy for customers to access our financial services," said Okki.
The relocation of the BNI office in Singapore was effective on July 23, 2024. As the first BNI branch abroad and the only Indonesian bank with a Full License branch in Singapore, BNI KLN Singapore continues to be committed to providing leading banking services.
In addition to Singapore, BNI also has a network of overseas offices in other world business centers, such as London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York, Seoul, Amsterdam, and most recently in Sydney.
In addition to general banking services, BNI KLN Singapore also offers fast and efficient remittance services, both for money transfers from and to Indonesia and to various countries around the world.
BNI also provides account management services such as Giro and Deposits with competitive interest rates, both for companies and individual customers.
For individual savings products, KLN Singapore presents BNI SingPlus, which is a savings intended for individuals who have a residence permit in Singapore. Account opening can be done with a minimum initial deposit of SGD 50.00 to enjoy attractive and competitive interest rates.
In addition, BNI also offers financing services for companies and the commercial sector, and actively participates in a consortium of financial institutions to offer syndicated loans to business groups or corporations.
"We actively participate with other financial institutions in providing syndicated loans for commercial companies and corporations," he added.
Okki also said that BNI also provides a Hospital Guarantee product, which makes it easier for customers to get health services at hospitals in Singapore without having to carry large amounts of cash.
In addition, BNI also offers Trade Finance services to support customer export-import activities, as well as Treasury service facilities.
"We hope that the various banking services available at BNI Singapore, including wealth management, can meet customer needs," concluded Okki.
For information, credit and syndication are the largest contributors to the assets of BNI branch offices in Singapore. Meanwhile, of all BNI branch offices operating abroad, they have currently contributed 10% to the company's total assets. (*)
