JAKARTA - Foreign investors sold 2.12 billion shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) on Thursday, October 3, for a net volume of -1.11 billion shares. The share sale then triggered the foreign sales volume to jump to 4.91 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was only 3.30 billion shares, bringing net foreign volume to -1.61 billion shares.

Foreign investors continued to sell shares, selling 260.64 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) for a net volume of -170.49 million shares. In the banking sector, 239.80 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were sold, for a net volume of -148.57 million shares. Shares of the coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were then sold for 379.04 million shares with a net volume of -124.17 million shares, followed by the sale of 45.95 million shares of the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) without shares purchases registered, resulting in a net volume of -45.95 million shares.

Turning to the share purchase list, foreign investors purchased around 102.21 million shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), which concentrates on the petrochemical sector, for a net volume of 85.43 million shares. Following that, 93.42 million shares of the property development company PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) were purchased with a net volume of 45.87 million shares. Furthermore, domestic and foreign shipping services firm PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) and forklift rental company PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL) both have a net volume of nearly 42 million shares after foreign investors purchased 45.70 million BULL shares and 51.19 million SMIL shares. Finally, 51.47 million shares of the industrial area development company PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) were purchased, for a net volume of 39.62 million shares. (KD)
