Returning to green zone, net foreign volume closed at 206.65 million shares
JAKARTA - Stock buying and selling activities by foreign investors on Friday, October 4, ended with a net foreign volume returning to the green zone at 206.65 million shares. The foreign buying volume was 4.16 billion shares, while the foreign selling volume was 3.96 billion shares. Furthermore, unlike the previous day, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) are now the most purchased, totaling up to 2.25 billion shares and a net volume of 655.09 million shares.
Aside from that, 40.60 million shares of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), which works in the upstream oil and gas services industry, were purchased, for a net volume of 38.40 million shares. With comparable net volume (38.39 million shares), 48.23 million shares of the industrial area development business PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) were also acquired. The airline business PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) then had the same share purchase volume and net volume of 31.38 million shares. Foreign investors also bought 35.56 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) and recorded a net volume of 29.31 million shares.
Meanwhile, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares were sold for 344.46 million, resulting in a net volume of -194.85 million shares. Shares of BUMI's subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), which engages in the mineral mining sector, were also sold for about 233.73 million shares, for a net volume of -70.66 million shares. Additionally, shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold for 184.52 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -153.59 million shares. Foreign investors also purchased shares in the banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), totaling 171 million shares with a net volume of -62.84 million shares. The last stock on the top-selling list was of the multimedia company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), which were sold for 60.02 million shares with a net volume of -50.22 million shares. (KD)
