More than 80 million Media Nusantara Citra (MNCN) shares released by Global Mediacom
JAKARTA - PT Global Mediacom Tbk, the company's controlling shareholder, released 80.52 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) on Thursday, October 3. Both issuers are media-related members of the MNC Group. Prior to this most recent sale, Global Mediacom owned 40.24% of MNCN; however, its share portion has now dropped to 39.7%. This transaction was carried out through PT KB Valbury Sekuritas.
Next, PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama released 6.5 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), a producer of palm oil, followed by PT Tiga Makin Jaya which released 3.5 million shares of PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk (PMMP), a company that processes and exports shrimp. Subsequently, the foreign investor Water Partners Bottling SA divested one million shares from its holdings in PT Akasha Wira International Tbk (ADES), the company that makes Ades and Pure Life bottled water. Shares held by this controller decreased slightly, from 91.52% to 91.35%. Then, the foreign investor in PT Perma Plasindo Tbk (BINO), Ruhong Holding Pte Ltd, still owns 1.94 billion shares, although its share percentage has dropped to 88.36%. BINO is a company that manufactures and distributes office supplies under the BANTEX brand.
Conversely, through the acquisition of 60.62 million shares, PT Nakula Investama Indonesia increased its stake in PT Aesler Grup Internasional Tbk (RONY). Nakula's hold in this group of architectural and engineering consultants went up from 44% to 48.85% as a result. PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA)'s controller, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, also decided to increase their holding in this financial services provider by 1.75 million.
The next company to reduce its shareholding was PT Putrasakti Mandiri, which sold 748 thousand shares of PT Puri Sentul Permai Tbk (KDTN), a company that provides hotel accommodation services. PT Bogamulia Nagadi then sold 494 thousand shares of PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), a pharmaceutical company. Eventually, individual investor Magnus Jaya released 10,500 shares of PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA), a housing and commercial developer, through PT INA Sekuritas Indonesia. (KD)
