JAKARTA - On Monday, October 7, share sales transactions by foreign investors resulted in foreign sales volume up to 5.78 billion shares. With a foreign buying volume of only 4.78 billion shares, the net foreign volume eventually ended at -1 billion shares. One of the largest contributors to the high foreign sales volume was the sale of shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), which reached 2.22 billion shares with a net volume of -784.34 million shares.

Apart from that, shares of the coal mining business PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were sold for around 397.18 million shares, with a net volume of -292.47 million shares. In the banking sector, foreign investors sold 134.70 million shares of PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) for a net of -103.86 million shares, followed by 194.36 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) for a net of -79.60 million shares. Shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were also sold for 918.75 million shares, and the net volume was -86.94 million shares.

On the share purchase list, 110.70 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were purchased, with the largest net volume of 74.74 million shares. In addition, PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) shares in the multimedia sector were purchased at 116.05 million shares for a net volume of 64.23 million shares, followed by the purchase of 131.75 million shares of property company PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) for a net volume of 61.31 million shares. PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF), which provides business and management consulting services, was the next stock purchased, with 74.60 million shares and a net volume of 50.49 million shares.
