JAKARTA – The performance of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (PJAA) took a downturn in Q3 2024 compared to Q3 2023. Lower revenue and increased expenses dragged its profit down by 41.10% to IDR 100.59 billion from IDR 170.80 billion.

Based on Financial Report of Q3 2024 quoted Friday (11/11), PJAA’s operating revenue was recorded at IDR 881.44 billion, down 2.33% from IDR 902.56 billion seen in the same period in 2023.

Its gross profit then slipped 10.89% to IDR 438.34 billion from IDR 491.93 billion, further lowering its operating profit by 9.43% yoy to IDR 238.39 billion from IDR 337.83 billion.

Most of Q3 2024 revenue came from ticket sales of IDR 628.67 billion, hotel and restaurants of IDR 57.53 billion, real estate of IDR 5.67 billion, and others of IDR 190.71 billion.

In terms of operating segment, tourism sector brought in IDR 658.73 billion of revenue, while real estate contributed IDR 155.89 billion, as well as trading and services of IDR 169.08 billion. (LK/ZH)
