JAKARTA. PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk (BELI), the issuer of the Djarum Group which oversees Blibli.com, will carry out additional capital without granting pre-emptive rights (PMTHMETD) or private placement by issuing 4.9 billion new shares.

The number of shares to be issued by BELI is equivalent to 4.14% of the issued and fully paid capital. Each new share has a nominal value of IDR 250.

BELI management has obtained approval from the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) to carry out this corporate action. The distribution of new shares is scheduled for October 22 2024 and the listing of shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on October 23 2024.

"All the new shares will be taken up by PT Lingkarmulia Indah, which is an affiliated party of the company," said BELI Management, in its official statement.

For the record, the new shares issued by BELI in a private placement are priced at IDR 460 per share. Thus, the company will reap fresh funds of IDR 2.25 trillion from this corporate action. (KR/LM)
