JAKARTA - PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) will divest a maximum of 7 billion shares in PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia (AAI) to its shareholders (Public Offering by Shareholders/PUPS). This issuer will offer its shares in AAI to shareholders registered in the Shareholders Register (DPS) as of November 27, 2024.

In an information disclosure quoted on Thursday (17/10), Christian Ariano Rachmat, Deputy President Director of ADRO, stated that the planned divestment transaction value is in the range of US$2.44 billion-US$2.62 billion or around 31.8%-34.1% of total equity of ADRO. This plan will be sought for approval at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on Friday (18/10).

AAI is a subsidiary of ADRO with 99.99% share ownership. AAI's revenues and profits were US$ 2.65 billion and US$ 922.76 million or 89.4% and 104.8% of ADRO's revenues and profits of US$ 2.97 billion and US$ 880.18 million, respectively. (LK/LM)
