Samuel International is injecting IDR 661.94 billion to FILM
JAKARTA - PT Samuel International (SI) will place IDR 661.94 billion in PT MD Entertainment Tbk (FILM) via the acquisition of 216.32 million shares issued by the company next week (25/10). In this planned private placement, FILM is setting the exercise price to IDR 3,060 per share.
In the information disclosure quoted Monday (21/10), Fidela Hasworini, Corporate Secretary of FILM, confirmed that the company’s shares will rise to 9.72 billion from 9.51 billion shares seen prior to private placement. This corporate action had been approved during Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders last week (8/10).
With this acquisition of the shares, SI’s portion will rise to 2.22% of total shares issued by FILM.
As of September 30, 2024, FILM’s shareholders consisted of Morgan Stanley of 14.62% of 9.51 billion listed shares, followed by PT MD Global Investments of 50.5%, Shania Manoj Punjabi 0.2%, Sajan Lachmandas, Priyadashi Anand, Inayat Haresh of 0% each, Sanjera Advani 0.02%, Manoj Dhanoo 17.5%, and the public 17.16%.
