JAKARTA - Two significant PT Estika Tata Tiara Tbk (BEEF) investors agreed to increase their stake in this livestock company on Thursday, October 17. First, 109.19 million more shares were purchased through PT BCA Sekuritas by Asia Agri International Pte Ltd, a foreign investor and the controller of 70.59% of the shares. Then, with a share portion of 8.11%, individual investor Edie purchased 12.54 million BEEF shares through PT KB Valbury Sekuritas.

After that, PT Karya Nusa Perdana acquired 8.20 million more shares of PT Maxindo Karya Anugerah Tbk (MAXI), a snack manufatcurer. PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala also acquired 2.21 million shares in PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), a financial services provider. Then, PT Startel Communication purchased 1.04 million shares from PT Jaya Trishindo Tbk (HELI), also known as Jati Group. This company specializes in commercial air transportation, particularly in helicopter rentals.

PT MNC Sekuritas started the share reduction by releasing over 787.33 million shares of PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), a division of MNC Group involved in the construction and operation of hotels and resorts. This transaction was facilitated by PT MNC Sekuritas. Next, PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama sold 23.88 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), a company that produces palm oil. PT Tiga Makin Jaya then sold nine and a half million shares of PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk (PMMP), a company that processes and exports shrimp.

Additionally, UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Ltd., a foreign investor, released 79.27 million shares of PT Pollux Hotels Group Tbk (POLI), a company in the real estate and property sectors. Lastly, individual investor Andreas Utomo released up to 7.5 million shares of sugar producer PT Aman Agrindo Tbk (GULA) through PT MNC Sekuritas and PT Erdikha Elit Sekuritas. (KD)
