JAKARTA - The movement of the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) slowed at the start of the initial trading session amidst the inauguration of a number of heads of government agencies on Tuesday morning (22/10). The index fell to 7,739.15 at 10.05 WIB.

In the morning monitoring, the index rate at the start of the stock transaction session weakened to the 7.7500 level. This condition runs from the start of the morning session until close of transactions at 12.00 WIB. At 11.18 WIB, the JCI was at the level of 7,762.39, lower than when it opened the initial session at the level of 7,764.73 at 09.00 WIB.

Negative sentiment on the JCI this morning was also reflected in a number of other indices. LQ45 was corrected 0.56% at 956,030, IDX30 fell 0.45% at 491,986, IDX was at 137,164, corrected 0.38%, and IDXESGL fell 169,242 at 0.03%.

The JCI rate in the morning session was influenced by the share prices of a number of issuers with market capitalization (marketcap) from the banking and energy industries. Shares of these issuers include, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI ), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), and PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL).

On the other hand, shares of listed companies that appear to be strengthening include PT Barito Renewable Energy Tbk (BREN), PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), and PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD). (LK/LM)
