JAKARTA – Credit distributions are projected to rise in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024 compared to Q3 2024. The loan growth will also be accompanied with an increase in third-party funds (DPK) collection in the same period.

Based on Banking Survey in Q3 2024 of Bank Indonesia, quoted today (22/10), the credit distributions in Q4 2024 will increase by 88.3%, referring to Weighted Net Balance (WNB), which also increased 80.6% in Q3 2024.

Loans will be prioritised for working capital credit, investment credit, and consumption credit.

However, growth in loan disbursements will entail stricter credit distribution policies, in this case, referring to administrative requirements. On the other hand, loan interest rate, credit approval fees, and tenors, are expected to be more relaxed.

Then, DPK collection is also projected to increase by 89.3%, referring to NWB in Q4 2024, from the previous 84.5% seen in Q3 202. All instruments will indicate the same trend, including savings, deposits, and current accounts. (LK/ZH)
