JAKARTA – At the closing of afternoon session on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today (22/10), Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index arrived at 7,789.07, climbing from 7,764.73 seen in the morning.

Monitoring the board at today’s afternoon session, JCI was seen spiking and rebounding at 1.50 PM WIB until its closing bell at 4 PM. Prior to this, JCI was seen idling at around 7,700.

Several other indices responded to this shy upturn, including LQ45 that went up 0.04% to 961.393, IDX30 up 0.13% to 494.207, IDX80 up 0.29% to 137.692, and IDXESGL up 0.18% to 169.294.

Then, companies in pharmaceutical and healthcare industries reported arriving at the green zone, namely PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF), PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (MIKA), PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO), and PT Darya Varia Laboratoria Tbk (DVLA).

However, in the same industries, several stocks were seen corrected, such as PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO), PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA),  PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF), PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA), and PT Phapros Tbk (PEHA). (LK/ZH)
