Supporting Dhoho Kediri Airport, GGRM put in extra IDR 300 billion
JAKARTA. PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), one of the biggest cigarette manufacturers in Indonesia, has channelled extra capital of IDR 300 billion to PT Surya Dhoho Investama (SDHI).
This capital injection is distributed alongside the issuance of new shares by SDHI. Total new shares issued by SDHI is 300 thousand, worth IDR 1 million each. This entirety of shares is then taken over by GGRM, as the controlling shareholder of SDHI.
This extra capital then boosted the issued and paid-up capital of SDHI to IDR 14.3 trillion from the previous IDR 14 trillion.
“This affiliate transaction is intended to boost SDHI’s capital, which is meant to support operational activities of Dhoho Kediri Airport in East Java, established by the company through SDHI,” said Heru Budiman, Corporate Secretary of GGRM, in the official statement.
According to IDNFinancials data, GGRM recorded total assets of IDR 87.75 trillion with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 3.99 trillion as of June 30, 2024. Meanwhile, its total equity clocked up to IDR 61.79 trillion. (KR/ZH)
