JAKARTA. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR), a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, booked net profit of IDR 3.01 trillion in the first nine months (9M) in 2024.

Said profit dropped 28.1% year-on-year (yoy), or from the same period last year, in which UNVR managed to rake in IDR 4.19 trillion of net profit.

Based on the recently issued financial report, UNVR’s profit decline in 9M 2024 was seemingly affected by its sales, which only managed to reach IDR 27.42 trillion. It is way below total sales in Q3 2023, in which it collected IDR 30.51 trillion.

According to the segments, household and body care products were still the main contributor of UNVR’s sales in 9M 2024, bringing in total IDR 17.59 trillion. Meanwhile, sales from food and beverages brought in sales of IDR 9.82 trillion.

Until September 30, 2024, UNVR’s total assets were reported at IDR 16.54 trillion, with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 539.64 billion, while its total equity was IDR 3.44 trillion. (KR/ZH)
