Bumi Serpong Damai takes over 91.99% of Suryamas Dutamakmur (SMDM)
JAKARTA - On Wednesday, October 23, PT Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk (SMDM), a real estate development company, welcomed a new investor. After acquiring more than 4.39 billion shares, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk was listed as the controller with a 91.99% share portion. PT Sinarmas Sekuritas made this massive share purchase possible.
Additionally, PT Eco Energi Perkasa acquired stock in PT Solusi Kemasan Digital Tbk (PACK), a company that makes plastic packaging. After investing 753.40 million shares, this new investor took over 49% of the company right away. In the meantime, PT Benson Kapital Indonesia's final ownership was 6.13% after they sold nearly 60 million PACK shares. PT BCA Sekuritas was employed to complete the two transactions.
DBS Bank Ltd S/A PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia then acquired 15 million shares of the property company PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), and the controller PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala acquired over 10 million shares of the financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA). PT Jaya Trishindo Tbk (HELI), the issuer involved in the commercial helicopter rental industry, then reported that PT Startel Communication had acquired up to 1.2 million of its shares.
However, foreign investor Silvery Moon Investments reduced its stake in electric vehicle manufacturer PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) by the largest amount this time, releasing 187.50 million shares. Additionally, 2.20 million shares of PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR), a business that offers information security solutions across multiple industries, were released by INV Management Pte Ltd. After that, Catur Jatiwaluyo sold 40 million shares of PT Paperocks Indonesia Tbk (PPRI), a company that produces and issues paper packaging. Finally, PT Tiga Makin Jaya sold 11.30 million shares of PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk (PMMP), a company that processes and exports shrimp. (KD)
