JAKARTA - PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) bagged net profit of IDR 801.15 billion in Q3 2024, a slight increase from IDR 800.57 billion. The achievement is in line with revenue surge in the same period.

Based on Financial Report of Q3 2024 quoted Wednesday (30/10), its revenue was recorded at IDR 16.28 trillion, higher than IDR 15.68 trillion seen in the same period last year.

Gross profit also increased to IDR 2 trillion from IDR 1.95 trillion, with gross profit margin slipping from 12.31% to 12.42%.

The highest sales came from unrefined palm oil and its byproducts, reaching IDR 15.09 trillion, followed by palm kernels and byproducts of IDR 1.18 trillion, and others of IDR 6.61 billion.

For comparison, in Q3 2023, unrefined palm oil and byproducts generated IDR 14.49 trillion of sales, also followed by palm kernels and byproducts of IDR 1.16 trillion, and others of IDR 16.58 billion.

Geographically, Sulawesi plantations brought in the highest income, followed by Kalimantan and Sumatra. This is similar to the same period last year, in which palm plantations in Sulawesi dominated the company’s sales.

In the meantime, the biggest users, covering 81% of total sales, came from third parties. In the same period last year, the third-party users also dominated 67.53% of total sales. (LK/ZH)
