JAKARTA - On Tuesday (29/10), share buying and selling transactions by foreign investors both decreased compared to the previous day, with foreign buying volume at 2.46 billion shares and foreign selling volume at 2.87 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume ended at -409.17 million shares.

Share-buying activity began with foreign investors buying 83.30 million shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), resulting in a net volume of 34.45 million shares. Furthermore, around 36.20 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) were purchased, for a net volume of 33.08 million shares. Shares of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA), which focuses in animal breeding, feed production, and processing, were then purchased for 39.36 million shares, with a net volume of 26.39 million shares. In addition, 32.74 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were purchased for a net volume of 18.76 million shares, followed by the purchase of 32.10 million shares of property company PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) for a net volume of 18.66 million shares.

Meanwhile, 820.39 million shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were sold, resulting in a net volume of -115.75 million shares. In the banking sector, foreign investors sold 136.79 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with a net volume of -85.48 million shares and 33.49 million shares of PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) with a net volume of -31.63 million shares. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares in the coal mining industry were then sold for 80.33 million shares, with a net volume of -65.03 million shares. Finally, shares of PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA), a general mining contractor services firm, were sold for 65.18 million shares for a net volume of -44.07 million shares. (KD)
